Mickie has been part of the David J. Witchell team since 1999 and is known for her dedication to craftsmanship, education, and client care. She is passionate about the artistry of hair and values a profession that allows her to express creativity while helping clients achieve their personal hair goals. Working alongside a talented team continues to inspire Mickie to refine her skills and grow as a stylist. Her specialties include precision cutting and customized color, with a particular love for creating beautifully structured short shapes and rich, dimensional color. Mickie received her foundational training at American Beauty Academy and has completed advanced education with leading professional brands including Wella, Redken, Phyto, Sebastian, and L’Oréal. She was classically trained in the David J. Witchell methodology of Shape, Color, and Finish, and has further expanded her expertise through advanced training with internationally recognized artists including David Stanko, Christopher Dove, Sonya Dove, Travis Parker, and Sam Villa.
